Battle Of The Bands (The White Rose)

Oh man! We (The White Rose) just had a sweet concert on April 2! God has just been opening door after door for this band. As many of you know we (Caleb Dailey, Micah Dailey, Giled Jose) have a band here in Kuwait. We are Christians, so I never would have expected all of these opportunities that God has been putting our way. The reason it was so unexpected is because we are playing totally secular venues and usually with very heavy bands.

The most recent venue that took place was the Battle of the Bands. We just won 2nd place at this battle. That is so intense in the first place because EVERY OTHER BAND PLAYING THERE WAS HARD MUSIC. We, on the other hand, are an Indie/rock band who is WAY softer than everyone else. Also, it was so crazy because SOO many people came up to me afterward and said they were shocked that we got 2nd. They all expected us to get first. How amazing is God! We have had the chance to make some amazing friendships with so many people, and we have had the chance to tell some of a couple of them the meaning of our songs just yesterday. Which was so awesome to have serious time with them and just talk to them and tell them that we are just a screwed up human being but God is so beautiful and everything HE is and DOES is so perfect and amazing. I got the chance to express a need for our beautiful Savior to these precious people. Also, it was just so amazing to have them open up about there lives and share stories to us.

Yes it was fun to win 2nd, but God had crazier things in mind! And I just pray that we continue to bring glory to God through these events and give being a Disciple of Christ a good name. We want to be like Jesus and be attractive Believers who shed light and bring hope to this lost generation.
